Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna River and the first stop of the Char Dham Yatra. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.

Reachable by a 6 km trek from Janki Chatti. Nearest rail station is Rishikesh. Local jeeps and buses available till Hanuman Chatti.
